August Race Appoints E.P. Barrus as UK Distributor for Oceans Assured Initiative
August Race is pleased to confirm that E.P. Barrus has joined the new anti-pollution Oceans Assured™ initiative and will represent the brand in the United Kingdom.
E.P. Barrus brings extensive experience and technical leadership to the UK marine sector and has taken an active role in supporting the UK government’s commitment to achieving net-zero by 2050. The company has been involved in multiple low- and zero-emission power plant projects over a number of years, working with brands including Hybrid Marine, HiSun, WhisperPower, and Bramble Energy.
Through its participation in the Oceans Assured™ initiative, Barrus further reinforces its commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation within the leisure marine industry. The August Race Oceans Assured™ range will be available in the UK from 2026 and is designed to support clearer, evidence-based environmental compliance for boat owners, operators, and marine professionals.
Oceans Assured™ combines a comprehensive range of valeting, maintenance, and operational marine products with a digital compliance platform, helping users better understand applicable regulations, including MARPOL Annex V, which applies to leisure craft as well as commercial vessels.
