ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

FAB-RESTORE is a non-toxic, high-performance cleaner designed for the quick and effective cleaning of boat sails, canopies, sprayhoods and marine canvas. Safe on stitching and marine textiles, FAB-RESTORE is capable of removing salt deposits, water marks, mildew residues and general dirt without degrading fabric strength or finish.

All products produced after 2025 have been reformulated to ensure they are non-harmful to the marine environment, fully MARPOL Annex V compliant, and completely non-hazardous.

For optimal results and long-term fabric protection, we recommend following with August Race SAIL PROTECT to re-waterproof the material and enhance UV resistance.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Rinse the sail or canvas lightly to remove loose debris.

• Apply FAB-RESTORE evenly to the surface using a spray bottle or sponge.

• Work into the fabric using a soft brush or cloth, focusing on stained or salt-loaded areas.

• Allow a short dwell time, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

• Allow to dry fully before applying August Race SAIL PROTECT for re-waterproofing and UV defence.

Test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application to ensure suitability.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.

Dispose of the container in accordance with MARPOL Annex V requirements and local legislative guidance where relevant.
