August Race™ is proud to announce that Co-Founder and Technical Director Peter Wallbank has been welcomed as a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), recognising his contribution to chemical science, environmental research and sustainable product innovation.

Peter Wallbank, Technical Director of August Race, has been invited to join the ICOMIA Technical Committee, chaired by Sebastien Milcendeau. The ICOMIA Technical Committee plays a central role in supporting the global recreational marine industry by monitoring emerging and evolving technical regulations, guiding the development and revision of ISO standards, and encouraging alignment between international frameworks such as ISO and ABYC. Its work helps ensure that technical standards remain practical, relevant, and globally consistent. In addition to its standards-focused activity, the Committee maintains awareness of technical developments in adjacent and non-marine sectors.
