Occasionally you come across a real gem of a chandlery, you know the kind of place that stocks it all (including August Race of course) and is a well of advice and information on all thing boat! One such place of note has to be Jones Boatyard in beautiful St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Established in 1946 as L.H. Jones & Son Ltd, Jones Boatyard is is a third generation family business and believed to be England’s oldest inland marina.
As well as the impressive onsite chandlery Run by Graham Richards Jones Boatyard offers peaceful moorings in natural surroundings. Showers, fuel, electricity and fresh water all perfectly situated beside the picturesque St.Ives lock.
Graham first decided to stock the August Race range of marine valeting products in February 2017 after noticing a the lack of high quality boat cleaners on the market. Since then sales of the products have steadily risen as word has got around in the marina.
Graham even recently sent us some photos that a customer had taken of his beloved Ribeye Rib after having been amazed by the results achieved with August Race Liquid Rib and Liquid Rib UV "its like a new boat" he remarked.
