SAIL-PROTECT is an environmentally responsible waterproofing and protective treatment designed specifically for boat sails, canvaswork, sprayhoods, biminis and marine textiles. The advanced formulation creates a durable hydrophobic barrier that repels water, enhances fabric longevity, and helps reduce staining and UV-related wear — all without altering the natural feel of the material.

All products produced after 2025 have been reformulated to ensure they are non-harmful to the marine environment, fully MARPOL Annex V compliant, and completely non-hazardous.

Supplied in an easily recyclable trigger-spray bottle, SAIL-PROTECT delivers high-level textile protection with reduced environmental impact.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensure all sails, canvas or textiles are clean and completely dry before application.

• Shake the bottle well.

• Spray SAIL-PROTECT evenly across the fabric from approximately 15–20 cm away.

• Allow the treatment to dry naturally at ambient temperature.

• For older or more porous materials, apply a second coat once the first coat is fully dry to achieve maximum waterproofing.

• Allow the fabric to cure fully before exposing it to water or stowing.

Test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application to ensure suitability.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.

Dispose of the container in accordance with MARPOL Annex V requirements and local legislative guidance where relevant.
