August Race as a company are always asking the question "are we doing all we can do?" in terms of reducing our impact on the environment.

   
We don't believe in the term "Eco Business" which is often used as a sales tactic because (as we all know) any and all manufacturing processes will have an effect on the environment in one way or another, be that in the production process, the waste output or even the logistics.

  
Instead we believe that we all have a responsibility to ensure that we reduce our negative effects on the planet wherever possible and that this should just be standard rather than something that is used to sell a product, a view shared by all of the amazing people that we had the pleasure to meet last week at the Global Good Awards ceremony hosted by BMA House in London!

  

    

     

SEPTEMBER 2024 - NEW INDUSTRY FIRST INNOVATION, LAUNCHED AT SOUTHAMPTON INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Something very different for our press conference on the opening day of Southampton International Boat Show!

  
We were very proud to be able to announce the launch of our first to market marine wood protection treatment "Deck Seal" to the marine industry's press at the E.P Barrus stand in Ocean Hall.

There was an excellent turnout and lots of interest in the new product which is formulated using RECYCLED OILS which we de-water and decontaminate before repurposing back into a super high quality wood protection oil.

HERE'S WHY THIS FORMULATION IS SO IMPORTANT FOR OUR INDUSTRY 

 

• Reduces the disposal of waste oil
• Reduces the requirement for virgin oil
• Produced in the UK to reduce carbon output 
• Packaged in an easily recyclable bottle

AUGUST 2024 - AUGUST RACE LAUNCH THE NEW "AUGUST RACE FOR RV" RANGE AT THE ADIHEX EXHIBITION , ABU DHABI

The introduction of the new August Race RV Valeting Range in addition to our existing, multi-award wining Marine Valeting Range has had a hugely positive response at the ADIHEX show so far and we've been fielding enquiries from around the globe!

New distributors and stockists conformed for both the August Race Marine and RV ranges, details to follow shortly!
