MARPOL: understanding your obligations

This tool provides guidance only. Flag State rules, vessel certification, trade area and local marina, port or protected area requirements may add obligations. When in doubt, retain waste onboard and use reception facilities ashore. If local rules conflict, always follow the stricter requirement.
