ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
August Race™ GRP Sealer UV is a premium high-gloss UV-protective poly-coating engineered specifically for fibreglass (GRP) boats. Using advanced polymer technology, it forms a durable, long-lasting protective layer while enhancing the surface with an intensely reflective, ultra high-shine finish.
Designed for versatility, it can be used as a stand-alone alternative to Smooth Opacity UV Polish or applied as a secondary sealing coat to lock in wax, increase depth of gloss and maximise UV protection.
All products produced after 2025 have been reformulated to ensure they are non-harmful to the marine environment, fully MARPOL Annex V compliant and completely non-hazardous.
PROVEN PERFORMANCE
Independent laboratory testing using accelerated weathering and UV exposure simulation (240 hours under extreme temperature fluctuation and UV conditions) confirmed:
“After 240 hours of accelerated weathering and UV exposure, the coated sample was visually far superior to the uncoated sample.”
This demonstrates exceptional UV resistance and long-term surface protection under demanding marine conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure the GRP surface is clean, dry and free from contamination
Apply GRP Sealer UV to a clean microfibre cloth or applicator pad
Spread evenly using smooth, overlapping strokes
Allow the coating to bond and lightly haze
Buff to a high-gloss finish with a clean, dry cloth
For maximum protection and depth of shine, apply as a secondary coat over waxed surfaces

Test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application to ensure suitability.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
Dispose of the container in accordance with MARPOL Annex V requirements and local legislative guidance where relevant.
